The Chaos Hypertextbook Download The Chaos Hypertextbook E-Book
I wrote this book for anyone with an interest in chaos, fractals, non-linear dynamics, or mathematics in general. It's a moderately heavy piece of work, requiring a bit of mathematical knowledge, but it is definitely not aimed at mathematicians.

Comparison Geometry Download Comparison Geometry E-Book
A basic principle in classical Riemannian geometry is that a lower bound on the Ricci curvature implies that the Riemannian measure is bounded above by the measure in a corresponding model space. There are various ways to expand this principle to the setting of smooth metric measure spaces

Modern Signal Processing Download Modern Signal Processing E-Book
The theoretical foundation for Modern signal processing got it’s start back in the late 1960s and early 1970s.Two key texts which started this era are Digital Signal Processing by Oppenheim and Schafer and Theory and Application of Digital Signal Processing by Rabiner and Gold, both published in 1975

Lessons In Electric Circuits Download Lessons In Electric Circuits E-Book
Most students of electricity begin their study with what is known as direct current (DC), which is electricity °owing in a constant direction, and/or possessing a voltage with constant polarity. DC is the kind of electricity made by a battery (with de¯nite positive and negative terminals), or the kind of charge generated by rubbing certain types of materials against each other.

UNIVERSAL ALGEBRA FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE Download UNIVERSAL ALGEBRA FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE E-Book
We present algebraic conditions on constraint languages 􀀀 that ensure the hardness of the constraint satisfaction problem CSP.􀀀 / for complexity classes L, NL, P, NP and ModpL. These criteria also give non-expressibility results for various restrictions of Datalog. Furthermore, we show that if CSP.􀀀 / is not first-order definable then it is L-hard.

Brian Lederer, my supervisor, who always provided detailed answers to my questions. Brian is directly responsible for some parts of this text. He wrote the section on Bell states, some parts of the chapter on quantum mechanics, and a substantial amount of the other chapters. Without his help this work would never have been completed.

Neural Nets by Kevin Gurney Download Neural Nets by Kevin Gurney E-Book
This is a literature review on neural networks and related algorithms. It is aimed to get a general understanding on neural networks and find out the possible applications of these models in information retrieval (IR) systems. Beginning with a preliminary definition and typical structure of neural networks, neural networks are studied with respect to their learning processes and architecture structures. A case study on some specific networks and related algorithms is followed.
