M.A.Chidambaram College of Nursing was started in November 1992. Set in a beautiful ambience with attached hostel facilities and located in the heart of City of Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, the College offers a 4 - year B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree course (since 1992) and a 2 - year M.Sc.(Nursing) Degree course (since 2001). M.A.Chidambaram College of Nursing has entered the17th year of its service to the cause of quality health care and has earned a distinct name for itself. The combination of an excellent professional training and value inculcation has enabled those graduating from the college to get placed in institutions of high repute, both in the state and in the global market. Thus the college enjoys a well deserved recognition in the emerging globalization of nursing services. The college is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu vide their G.O. M.S.No.754 dated 21.05.1991. It is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and The Tamil Nadu Nurses’ and Midwives’ Council and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
