About The Institute - NMAMIT NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte was founded in 1986, in memory of Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya, a distinguished engineer of the district. NMAM Institute of Technology is an autonomous institution and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is approved by the AICTE and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The Institute has also obtained International Accreditation by IAO during 2012 and is certified to ISO-9001- 2008 standards by KEMA, Netherlands for quality education standards. The Institute, after successful implementation of TEQIP-I, a world bank project, has been granted TEQIP-II funding during 2012-13.
