Pankajakasturi Ayurveda Medical College was inaugurated on 28th August 2002 by the Honorable minister for Health & Family Welfare Govt of Kerala shri. P. Sankaram. We have a 160 bedded hospital with A/c & Non A/c pay wards cabins & General wards. We give free treatment to patients under poverty line. Free noon meal is given to 1000 people daily during lunch time through “Padheyam”. You can enjoy the south Indian delicious food items from the hospital canteen. Various departments under efficient doctors conduct Out Patient consultancy on all days from 8:30am to 1:00 pm. Major departments are – Kayachikitsa (General Medicine), Shalya Tantra (orthoapedics),Shalakya Tantra (ENT), Prasuti Tantra & Striroga (Gynecology & Obstetrics), Kaumarabhrithya (pediatrics), Agada Tantra (toxicology), surgery (by allopathic doctors), Swasthavritta + yoga
