Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College (PRC), Thanjavur was established in 2003, is the first institution of the Group. PRC is a self-financing institution to get permanent affiliation to Bharathidasan University in less than 5 years, recognised by UGC. It is first amongst Arts and Science colleges to gain approval by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). The College provides full-fledged Schools of Higher Learning and other departments offering UG and PG courses, PRC is geared to offer more and more career-oriented courses.
