Royal Dental College is managed by the Royal Education Foundation, a Trust formed by a team of socially committed professionals drawn from various fields with a vision to undertake various educational, social and cultural activities. The Trust Chairman Haji V.V.K. Moidheen is a well-known social activist, who has vast experience in managing a number of educational institutions, orphanages and many other social organizations. The college is in its tenth year of establishment in 2013.The institution has grown from an undergraduate level to a full fledged postgraduate institution within these ten years.
