Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital (A constituent college of Bharath University, Declared under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956) is situated at 7 works road, Chromepet, Chennai. It is approved by Medical council of India and Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Govt of India, New Delhi. This college is very close to the Railway station, bus stand and airport. Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital is a private, nonprofit, self-financing medical Institution, pledged to the service of the community, catering to the healthcare needs of the people in general and especially to the needy, underprivileged, suffering section of humanity in particular. Free medical service is given to the poor and needy people. Separate rural and urban health training centers have also been established so as to impart field practice training to medical students and helping the needy people nearby and those in remote rural areas.
