Sri Aurobindo College was established by Delhi University in 1972, which was the birth centenary year of the philosopher, patriot-poet, Sri Aurobindo. The college is a constituent part of Delhi University. The college inculcates the ideals of Sri Aurobindo and believes that an active commitment towards excellence is in fundamental to the process of education. The college admits students (boys & girls) to various degrees/programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce. The college offers a challenging opportunity to its students in academic and extracurricular activities to foster physical and intellectual growth among the students. Our students have achieved first divisions in almost all courses of study. In sports and cultural activities, our college has established a clear lead.
