Selvam College of Physical Education, Namakkal was established in 2006 by the pioneer in Poultry Industry and a Philanthropist, Dr.P.Selvaraj. The College is managed under the auspices of V.Ponnusamy Educational and Charitable Trust which was formed in the fond memory of their late father. The College is fully self supporting and founded to serve the youth of the predominantly agricultural, under privileged and downtrodden families in the neighborhood. The College aims to achieve the vision of the founder by establishing and managing Educational Institutions based on the four cardinal principles of Discipline, sound education, sports and service.
