About Kumara Rani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science for Women : Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science was established in 1996 by Dr. (Mrs.) Meena Muthiah, the founder of the college. The college changed the status in 2001 into co-education institution. The college has also established schools like Chettinad Vidyalaya, Chettinad Vidyashram and Kumararani Meena Muthiah Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kumararajah Muthiah Higher Secondary School, Kumararajah School of Arts & Craft.
