Muthurangam Government Arts College, Vellore was established in 1965. The college is accredited by NAAC with B grade and the college got autonomous status by UGC. The college is affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University and the MBA courses offered by the college is approved by AICTE. The college caters to first-generation, marginalized and rural students. Hence the courses are oriented towards giving the under-privileged sections of the society an opportunity for vertical mobility through quality education and extra co-curricular activity performances to acquire the necessary skills and personality traits to realize their aspiration and to compete at global levels.
