Smt.B.C.J.College of Education, Khambhat was established in 1969 managed under Kelavani Mandal. The College is affiliated with Gujarat University. The main aim of the college is to train the students for secondary and higher secondary teachers. The College is imparting lessons, micro lessons and Block Teaching to give the practical training to the Students. The College also conducts co-curricular activities. At present with a Large Campus and totally academic environment, the institute is proud to be a leading Educational Complex of the region. The Centralized Admission Committee framed by the Gujarat University admits students on their merits. Academic staff Participates in framing of new curriculum at faculty level. Interactive and participatory programmes are regularly organized by the College which provides opportunities to trainees and teacher educators to know and understand each other. The College is accredited with B+ grade by NAAC
